I always get a good chuckle or at the very least a good heh out of people’s reactions to Adam just smiting pentious. Especially if you add in the reaction people have to the ending of the episode

Alastor having a chance with how many chances Adam has to actually dish a hit? Bruh clearly didn’t notice the foreshadowing from previous episodes in relation to multiple parts of this episode. In relation to Alastor v Adam the line “you fight like someone who is unafraid of harm” applies the best.

Also the fact that the 2 characters Alastor allow to touch him being Mimzy and nifty should be really telling. Remember mimzy said the term friend works in regards to her relationship with Alastor and he at the very least tolerated her touching him, so him doing the same with nifty AND openly talking with nifty is very interesting if you think about it. Says a lot about their relationship whatever that is who knows but it’s clear that it is close, definitely closer/less strained than it is with husk. As it keeps getting pointed out alastor is basically nothing but a question mark at this point, so many mysteries yet so few answers but loads of hints.

Believe it or not this episode has the only moment that I don’t outright hate Val in it, that being his reaction to Lucifer’s “I’m gonna fuck you” line. Seriously the humor manages to equal out the hatred I feel towards Val overall. Just aside I don’t him in regards to the role he plays but more so his behavior and actions as though I never went abuse of any kind I do have an emotionally immature dad who would yell and swear at me when he was upset which always was preluded by me being upset so you obviously see why I don’t exactly Val for that reason. Plus I’m not exactly anti-porn but more so I view it as a necessary evil just as long as it doesn’t enter illegal territory. I’m more on the fence regarding Velvette however, I really don’t like the massive presence and influence social media has on society which velvette and Vox both show it really well in different ways of course, but as a character velvette is fine in my opinion. The only v I do enjoy however is vox, for some reason he is number 2 for favorite antagonist in the show behind alastor(not kidding you) but as a character he is number 3, husk being number 1 and lucifer being number 2. The others(aside from the two other v’s) are constantly changing

There is a theory that if a sinner can rise to haven thru death and redemption that an angel(Adam) can fall thru death and sin.

I love that before there was this theory that if redemption happen, it would be reserved for the series finale. NOP! Just the end of season one! XDDD

A fun fact! After I was done with this batch of recordings I actually fell sick for like 2 weeks! XD I think an infection, combined with me doing 4 episode reactions in a single night overloaded my systems!

For some reason I had a very inkling he used to be an overlord with how casino inspired he is if you think about it, but then i thought about the other overlord designs and they have at most 2 things referencing their industry or whatever so I was like “maybe? I’ll just keep it in the back of my mind just in case”. Also not the first time I heard Keith David singing, Keith David also voiced facilier from Disney’s princess and the frog.

Zestial Morde is a character original to this series, the only Bible characters in this series are Lucifer and Adam, sera and Emily if you count them

12:56 wonder why alastor is in my nightmares? It’s the same nightmare every time(ever since alastor got in there the ending been the exact same too) being chased through the woods to the point of exhaustion and then being eaten alive, at this point that always being done by Alastor. I fucking hate how my mind even when asleep keeps things accurate to whatever lore a character has, sometimes I even wake in the middle of the night panicked.

I may have been the only one to receive confirmation about vaggie’s angel status from the lines “their minds are hard to change” and such because much like Lucifer(I did see you have up to ep7) she provided so many warnings regarding heaven and the angels were true that also applies to Lucifer so I was like “yep she’s angel”

9:21 oh god this season itself spawned several more ships, a Lucifer and Alastor ship that is more or less just them constantly getting on each others nerves(especially Lucifer doing it), vox and alastor as weird as I find that one personally, dear god so many new ships from this season

I don’t if anyone else has told you yet the voice Sir Pentious in the pilot is voiced by Stamper (AKA The Narrator from Battleblock Theater)
